Chisum Middle School Scores High in Accountability Ratings

The 2026 Accountability Rating Overall Survey has been released, and the Chisum Independent School District Middle School boasts high marks. 

With an overall rating of an “A,” the district is one of relatively few in the state to achieve such a distinction, and posted a scaled score of 91, with a 90 in student achievement. In school progress, the school fell jujst shy of an “A” with an 87 score. And the district poste another “A” wth a 92 in “Closing the Gaps.” 

The CISD administration was pleased to announce the latest ratings and continued improvemens for the district. 

“Congratulations Chisum Middle School!” the district posted on it’s Facebook page. “We received an A in accountability! Not only were we an A, we also earned four distinction designations!: 

- Academic Achievement in Science 

- Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth 

- Postsecondary Readiness 

- Top 25% Comparative Closing the Gaps”
