The Hoskison Family held a birthday party last weekend for Miss Ada Hoskison, who turned 5 years old. She is the daughter of the Pecan Gap Mayor Cole Hoskison and his wife Holly. Her grandparents are Randy and Lynn Hoskison, also of The Gap. Also attending was Ms. Marjanne Chevalier, Ava’s Grand Aunt. A good time was had by all. The Pecan Gap Ladies Club will host a ChiliStew Fundraiser at the PG Community Center on Saturday, Feb 26, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Donations are appreciated. February 11, 2022, the PE Program hosted the finale to their basketball unit by having a tournament in the gym. Each game lasted 20 minutes starting with Pre-K, up through the 5th grade. Parents and community residents attended. The event was well-received. That is all from “The Hub of the Universe” this week. That is what my grandfather, Lawrence Stell Beeler called it whenever he was referring to either Pecan Gap or Delta County. I completely agree with him.
