Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Spinach Tortellini
4 boneless skinless chicken breast
8 oz. cream cheese
1 onion diced
4 cloves garlic minced
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 pound frozen cheese tortellini
4 cups fresh spinach
Add the chicken breasts to the slow cooker, along with onion, garlic, chicken broth, salt, and pepper Cook on low for 5 1/2 hours. Remove the cooked chicken from the crockpot and shred, then back into the slow cooker. In a bowl whisk the milk, heavy cream, SOFTENED cream cheese, and flour. Mix in with the chicken. Add the tortellini and spinach now. Cook for 30 minutes until tortellini is cooked through and soup has thickened. Serve and enjoy!
