Outside Services

A downed tree on Pecan Street left a good part of Roxton without power last Sunday morning, and both the
Methodist and Baptist churches felt the impact. In both cases, services went on. The Methodists moved their
services outside to escape the stifling heat inside the ca. 1915 church building. Odd how we’ve become so
used to modern conveniences that we move outside to escape the heat of non-air conditioned buildings, huh?
