Annual City-Wide Garage Sales Set For Saturday, August 7

The City of Roxton Community Development Committee has set Saturday, August 7 as the date for the Annual City- Wide Garage Sale. Each year the event brings out droves of people from the surrounding area to search for treasures. One can expect furniture, glassware, small appliances, clothing, books, and who knows what. Past participants have been extremely pleased whether they were selling or purchasing. Cost for sign-up is only $5.00, which covers the cost of advertising the event. Sign-up forms are in the Roxton Grocery and Café and at Roxton City Hall. To guarantee that your sale will appear on the maps printed, you must sign up no later than noon on Thursday, August 5. The maps will be available on Friday at Roxton Grocery and Roxton City Hall. We ask that all participants pick up a few maps to distribute to customers. We hope you have nothing left when the sale ends, but if you do, you may make use of the Goodwill trailer, which will be parked downtown near the Roxton Feed Mill.
