City Of Roxton Community Development Committee Announces 2021 Calendar

The City of Roxton Community Development Committee met on May 11th for the first time since the pandemic began to make plans for the remainder of 2021. Mark your calendar for the following events: Saturday, June 19 – City-Wide Cleanup Day. (Dumpsters provided) We need volunteers to help pick up trash on and around Roxton’s streets. Following the cleanup, free hot dogs will be served at the Community Center from 11:00-1:00. Saturday, June 19 -Concert Free concert downtown with performance by Smokey Lonesome Band. 7:30 p.m. Please bring your own chairs. Come and enjoy the evening. Good attendance may result in another free summer concert. August 7—City-Wide Garage Sales More information in this newspaper in future. Sunday, November 28 – Decorate downtown for Christmas. Volunteers needed. Thursday, December 2 – Christmas Tree Lighting. 6:30 p.m. at downtown pavilion The City of Roxton Community Development welcomes anyone to attend our meetings. Our goal to make Roxton a better and enjoyable place to live. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, June 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Roxton Community Center. Come and support your town!
