Chisum Students Excel

While all high school sports in Texas are teamoriented, the success of some athletic competitions are based on the combined results of individuals competing independently. Tennis and golf are but two examples. Congratulations to Gabbi Wood for qualifying for the regional golf tournament and to Cort Garner for winning first place in district competition and qualifying for the regional tennis tournament. Likewise, congratulations to Harmony Marsh, the District 12 3A Shot and Disc District Champ and your Area Shot and Disc Champ!!! Regionals here we come!! On the academic side of the Chisum High School experience, congratulations to senior Haylie Boyd. Haylie was awarded 1st place in poetry by the Paris Junior College Communications Division. Way to go Haylie!!
