Roxton Student Performs in CMS One Act Play

May 11, 2021

Anna Jae Wood was a part of the Chisum Middle School One Act Play, “I Never Saw Another Butterfly.” The play was a tribute to the 15,000 children that passed through Terezin, a Nazi concentration camp located in Czechoslovakia during WWII. Only about 100 children remained alive still alive when Terezin was liberated at the end of the war. The butterflies were a symbol of defiance, making it possible for the children to live on and play happily while waiting to be transported. Anna Jae is the granddaughter of Sabrina Rosson of Roxton.
