He Who Has No Cross Will Have No Crown
Before it’s too late we need to be educated how to live as well as to make a living. We are not talking about a way of life that we are comfortable with, but will pass the final test. We may be the only Bible some people will ever read. “Strive to enter into at the strait gate; for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” (Luke 13:34) We are not told to baptize every creature, but preach the gospel to every creature. We teach a little by what we say; more by what we do and most by what we are. He who has no cross will have no crown. “He said to them all, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23). The condition of our faith is the condition of our soul. Before it’s too late we need to know how to improve our standard of life as well as our living standard The will-power to plan the right kind of life and live it. It is very dangerous to seek God’s help, but resist His control. If a man’s hands are not dedicated to God, it is because his heart has not yet been given to God to carry his cross. “Let us therefore follow after the things which make for. peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.” (Rom. 14:19). Our assignment as a person grows out of the will of our Designer (Mark 16:15-16). Everything and everybody is ready to carry your cross. In many ways. the Lord is hoping to cause us to realize our potential before it’s too late The five wise virgins displayed wisdom by being prepared for the unexpected. Are you prepared for the unexpected? If not why not? The young ruler had his chance to take up his cross and follow Christ, but he threw it way. You still have your chance! The future it tied to the present with a cord unbreakable. If you don’t practice what you study from the Bible you deceive your own heart. A religion that won’t cause you to do the right thing to happen to you hereafter. It is a matter of putting God first in your life not because you have to, but because you want to. The most important thing in the world is what man actually believes about God “I will even deal with thee as thou has done.” (Ezek 16:59) Privilege and responsibility go hand in hand It is not hard to do the right thing when it means everything in the world to you. Don’t sell your soul at the expense of your body and forfeit the crown. God’s will must become our will today!
