Museum is recreated Office of Dr.
L. E. Ingram, long time optometrist
in Roxton, who ground
eyeglass lenses for surrounding
area residents.
Located in City Drug Store Museum is recreated office of Dr. J.R. Creed, who practiced
as a general practitioner for Roxton and surrounding area. Many male babies
delivered by Dr. Creed, were given his name.
Roxton establishments have been shut down since March of 2020 due to the pandemic. Everyone is anxious to return to normal, and that is happening this month. Mark the following dates on your calendar for the following events: Saturday, May 8—Vintage Peacock Sidewalk sale Monday, May 10th—Dr. Lura Gregory Memorial Library Board meeting—6:30 p.m. Tuesday—May 11th, City of Roxton Community Development Meeting— 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 15th –Farmers’ Market, Vintage Peacock’s Grand Re- Opening, City Drug Store Museum, Chaparral Rails to Trails Museum, and Dr. Lura Gregory Memorial Library.
