The Road to a Passing Grade is Open to all

by W.A. Martin

We should seek to know the Bible in our head: store it our heart, show it in our life and sow it in the world (Mark 16:15)That will help prevent spiritual failures (2 Tim. 4:1-4).

“Lay hold upon the hope set before us.” (Heb.6:18). Anything that will fail man in the last day, in the last hour, in the last moment, is not worth striving after (Mat. 7:24-27).

This God who washed away our sins, shall one day wipe away our tears if we have a passing grade (Isa. 1:18). The gospel is like a combination lock, the right numbers have to be in the right order. People may be misinformed or uninformed, but the result is the same. It must be man’s will to do God’s will in God’s way (Rev. 11:1).

One day our report cards will show how much we invested in our soul and others (James 1:27). You can teach a person the truth and they may say yes or no to God. You may encourage a person, but he must decide for himself (Josh. 24).

God’s love does not change his law for us today. Some don’t want to believe if you quit the church you quit the Lord.

A hundred years from today what will be most important to each one of us?. If you had only fifty-nine seconds to live before Judgment Day, what would you do or say?

You would pray that you had been busy in the Lord’s vineyard.
