Papa (Burl Moore), my great grandpa, had a friend that went to war in WW2. He was lucky enough to return home without any injuries. Upon returning, he went to a square dance in Sugar Hill, a few miles from Bogata. Well, it wasn’t long before a fight broke out. He didn’t want to get involved so he jumped out of a window and landed on his head! Later, he told Papa, “Dadgumit, I come back from war and didn’t die! And here I am gonna drown in a barrel of water!”
